Jeju-based startup Awesomeray has raised KRW 7.5 billion in a Series B bridge round to develop carbon nanotube (CNT)-based EUV pellicle membranes for semiconductor manufacturing. The round included investors such as S&S Investment and a defense fund jointly operated by Woori Investment Partners and Hanwha Investment & Securities, aiming to help the company transition from R&D to actual material supply. Awesomeray is also exploring applications of its CNT technology in aerospace and defense, and plans to pursue a technology-based listing in 2028 while relocating its headquarters to Jeju.
