a16z, 크립토 조직을 ‘a16z 프론티어’로 개편…AI·로보틱스·바이오로 투자 확대

Global venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is renaming its crypto-focused investment arm, a16z Crypto, as a16z Frontier and widening its scope to frontier startups in AI, robotics, and bio/health. It will look for startups creating new products and markets, including concepts such as native use cases, full-stack startups, and networks connecting people and AI agents. Chris Dixon will lead the unit, and the Seoul office will seek cooperation with Korean AI and robotics startups.

全球风险投资机构安德森·霍洛维茨（a16z）将以加密货币为中心的投资组织a16z Crypto更名为a16z Frontier，并把投资领域扩大到AI、机器人、生物医疗等前沿初创企业。该组织将寻找创造新产品和新市场的企业，关注原生用例、全栈初创企业以及连接人与AI代理的网络等方向。Chris Dixon将主导运营，首尔办公室将寻求与韩国AI和机器人初创企业的合作。
