월드, 금융권용 월드ID 출시 발표…AI 사칭 대응 신원 검증 솔루션

인간 증명 네트워크 월드(World)가 미국 라스베이거스 금융·핀테크 행사 머니20/20에서 금융기관용 신원 검증 솔루션 ‘금융권을 위한 월드ID’ 출시를 발표했으며, 월드에 따르면 현재 이용할 수 있다.

월드는 금융을 산업별 월드ID 솔루션의 첫 적용 대상으로 선정했고, 오픈익스체인지·베인캐피탈 등과 설계 협력사로 활용 방안을 모색하고 있다. 다만 이는 개별 금융기관의 상용 도입이나 전면 적용을 뜻하지 않는다.
인간 증명과 권한 검증이 모든 금융사기와 계정 탈취를 막는 것은 아니어서 기존 보안체계와 함께 적용하는 것이 중요하며, 월드는 발표 이후 줌토피아·클라우드플레어 커넥트 등에서 기업 관계자를 대상으로 기술을 소개할 계획이다.
