엔젤로보틱스, 창업자 공경철 대표이사 선임…피지컬 AI 확장

Angel Robotics, a wearable robot company, has appointed its founder Kong Kyoungchul, who was board chair and head of its Future Technology Institute, as CEO following a board meeting on the 16th. He previously served as CEO from 2017 to October 2024 and is leading the phact actuator, the phorce control platform and human motion foundation model research at a joint center with NVIDIA. The company plans to keep growing its wearable robot and overseas businesses while developing physical AI as a new growth driver.

可穿戴机器人企业Angel Robotics于16日召开董事会，选任创始人兼董事会主席、未来技术院院长孔庆哲为代表理事，并已公告。他于2017年创立公司，并担任代表理事至2024年10月，目前主导执行器phact、控制平台phorce以及与NVIDIA联合中心的人体动作基础模型研究。公司计划在继续推进可穿戴机器人业务和海外市场拓展的同时，将物理AI培育为新的增长动力。

ウェアラブルロボット企業のAngel Roboticsは16日に取締役会を開き、創業者で取締役会議長兼未来技術院長のコン・ギョンチョル氏を代表取締役に選任したと公示した。同氏は2017年に創業し2024年10月まで代表を務め、現在はアクチュエーターphact、制御プラットフォームphorce、NVIDIAとの共同センターでの人体動作基盤モデル開発を主導している。同社は既存のウェアラブルロボット事業と海外市場の拡大を続けつつ、フィジカルAIを新たな成長の柱として育成する計画だ。

Angel Robotics, entreprise spécialisée dans les robots portables, a nommé le 16 son fondateur Kong Kyoungchul, président du conseil et directeur de l'institut des technologies futures, au poste de PDG, comme elle l'a annoncé officiellement. Il avait déjà dirigé l'entreprise de 2017 à octobre 2024 et pilote l'actionneur phact, la plateforme de contrôle phorce et la recherche sur un modèle de fondation du mouvement humain dans un centre commun avec NVIDIA. L'entreprise entend poursuivre ses activités de robots portables et son expansion à l'étranger tout en faisant de l'IA physique un nouveau moteur de croissance.
