Early-stage VC The Ventures has completed a seed investment in Smoking Tiger, a Korean-style bakery cafe brand in the US, announced on October 15; the amount was not disclosed. Founded in 2020 in Southern California, the brand posted 2025 revenue of $6.24 million, up about 39% from $4.5 million in 2024, and runs a central kitchen able to supply up to 40 stores. It plans to expand around Dallas–Fort Worth in Texas, enter New Jersey, Georgia and Virginia via state-level license partners, and aim for 5 or more states in the long term.
