엔엠, AI로 자생 천연물서 탈모 완화 신소재 발굴…동물시험서 모발 성장 개선

AI bio startup NM (CEO Han Min-su) used its in-house AI screening platform SeedLing™ to analyze hundreds of thousands of natural compounds and discovered a new hair-loss-relief material from a native Korean natural product previously known for skin whitening. In animal tests at the hair-loss CRO epibiotech, the material improved hair growth amount, growth rate and number of anagen follicles versus controls, though this is not clinical evidence in humans. NM has filed a patent and plans to launch a scalp-care ampoule under its beauty brand Flora Lab in the second half of this year.

La startup de biotechnologie IA NM (PDG Han Min-su) a analysé des centaines de milliers de composés naturels avec sa plateforme de criblage IA SeedLing™ et identifié un nouveau matériau atténuant la chute des cheveux, issu d'un produit naturel coréen jusque-là connu surtout pour son effet éclaircissant. Lors d'essais sur animaux menés par l'organisme de recherche sous contrat epibiotech, le matériau a amélioré la croissance, la vitesse de pousse et le nombre de follicules en phase anagène par rapport au groupe témoin, sans constituer une preuve clinique chez l'humain. NM a déposé un brevet et prévoit de lancer une ampoule de soin du cuir chevelu sous sa marque de beauté Flora Lab au second semestre de cette année.
