VCroute, an AI fund-matching service run by Venture Platform (CEO Park Jun-ho), has launched a 'regional fund matching' feature that first recommends funds obligated to invest in a startup's home region. Based on public disclosures, as of Oct. 1, 2026 there are 159 regional funds open to new investment across 13 non-capital-region provinces and cities, totaling about 2.3 trillion won. The company's analysis also shows regional funds invest far more in local firms than funds overall, by an average of 6.8 times.

D'après les documents publics, au 1er octobre 2026, 159 fonds régionaux pouvaient encore investir dans 13 provinces et villes hors région capitale, pour environ 2 300 milliards de wons. L'analyse montre aussi que la concentration des investissements locaux des fonds régionaux est en moyenne 6,8 fois supérieure à celle de l'ensemble des fonds.
