텔레픽스, 구글 딥마인드 액셀러레이터 첫 기수에 한국 기업 유일 선정

Telepix, a space AI solutions company, has been selected as the only Korean company in the first cohort of Google DeepMind's 'AI for the Planet' accelerator program. The company will develop technology combining satellite data and AI, including DeepMind's AlphaEarth Foundations geospatial model and Gemini, to enable continuous global mangrove monitoring instead of the current annual map updates. Out of about 680 applicants across Asia-Pacific, only 16 were selected, and Telepix's technology has already achieved over 90% accuracy detecting mangroves even in countries not included in its training data.

太空AI解决方案企业Telepix成为Google DeepMind「AI for the Planet」加速器项目首期唯一入选的韩国企业。该公司将结合卫星数据与AI技术，运用DeepMind的地理空间AI模型AlphaEarth Foundations及Gemini，开发能够持续监测全球红树林变化的技术，以取代现有仅按年更新的地图方式。在亚太地区约680家申请机构中仅有16家入选，Telepix的技术在未纳入训练数据的国家的卫星影像检测中，准确率也已达到90%以上。

Telepix, une entreprise de solutions d'IA spatiale, est la seule entreprise coréenne sélectionnée dans la première cohorte du programme d'accélération « AI for the Planet » de Google DeepMind. L'entreprise développera une technologie combinant données satellitaires et IA, incluant le modèle géospatial AlphaEarth Foundations de DeepMind et Gemini, pour permettre une surveillance continue des mangroves à l'échelle mondiale, remplaçant les mises à jour annuelles actuelles des cartes. Sur environ 680 candidats dans la région Asie-Pacifique, seulement 16 ont été sélectionnés, et la technologie de Telepix a déjà atteint une précision de détection supérieure à 90 % même dans des pays non inclus dans ses données d'entraînement.
