Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), after launching its $1.1 billion (about 1.49 trillion won) Machine Age Fund focused on AI hardware and infrastructure in September, will send Managing Partner and General Partner Raghu Raghuram and its infrastructure team to Korea. They plan to meet Korean AI hardware and infrastructure firms to discuss technology development, commercialization and global partnerships, with semiconductors and robotics as the main areas. Specific investment targets, amounts and new contracts have not been disclosed.
