Corologic, a cardiovascular imaging AI startup founded by Seoul National University Bundang Hospital clinicians (CEO Hwang Kyung-rae), has been selected for the TIPS program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, on the recommendation of Seoul National University Tech Holdings. Its Angio-FILM uses AI video frame interpolation to restore coronary angiography filmed at 7.5 frames per second to about 15 frames per second, aiming to cut the area dose (DAP) by 25-50% without replacing existing equipment; that figure is a target still to be validated, not a confirmed result. Over the next two years the company will refine the technology and run clinical validation, then pursue Korean MFDS Class 2 approval, ISO 13485 and US FDA 510(k) clearance.
