씨위드-한동, 세포배양 한우 단백질 반려동물 사료로 공동 개발

Cell-cultured food startup Seaweed has signed an MOU with veterinary pharmaceutical company Handong to commercialize cultured Hanwoo beef protein as a pet food ingredient. The two companies aim to first target allergy-reduced pet food, entering the pet food market ahead of regulatory approval for human food use. Handong, founded in 1969, will provide GMP manufacturing facilities for formulation development while Seaweed contributes its cultured protein technology using its Hanwoo cell bank in Uiseong.
