로플랫, GPS 없이 IP·Wi-Fi로 위치 확인하는 구독형 ‘로플랫 API’ 출시

Loplat, a location technology and data company led by CEO Koo Ja-hyung, has launched Loplat API, a subscription service that finds locations without GPS. It combines Loplat IPS, which uses IP addresses to identify a neighborhood-level location, with Loplat WPS, which uses Wi-Fi signals and data from over 100 million access points nationwide to reach an average error of about 15m and provide floor information. Users can sign up on the website, get an API key, and try it free for 14 days without registering a credit card.
