Merck Life Science held the awards ceremony for its 2026 promising bio startup competition at BIX 2026 (Bioplus-Interphex Korea 2026) at COEX, Seoul, on October 30, selecting four companies. Support worth about KRW 370 million, KRW 20 million more than last year, includes process solution products, customized process development services and K-Bio Lab Hub membership. GluGene Therapeutics won the Grand Award for its AI-based AAV capsid engineering platform.
