문페이 코리아 공식 출범, 원화 스테이블코인 직접 발행 대신 기업·금융기관용 인프라 제공

MoonPay, a global digital-asset financial infrastructure company, officially launched MoonPay Korea at a media day held at Conrad Seoul Seoul in Yeouido on September 29. Beyond crypto on/off-ramps, it will focus on white-label stablecoin issuance infrastructure for financial institutions and companies, stablecoin liquidity, and cross-border payments, rather than issuing its own won stablecoin. Building on its acquisition of Finger with Sungho Electronics for about 100 billion won and an MOU with Woori Bank, it plans to use Korea as an Asian hub and pursue VASP registration next year.

全球数字资产金融基础设施公司MoonPay于9月29日在首尔汝矣岛康莱德酒店举行媒体日，正式宣布成立MoonPay Korea。该公司不直接发行韩元稳定币，而是面向金融机构和企业提供白标稳定币发行基础设施，并拓展稳定币流动性和跨境支付业务。凭借与成豪电子共同以约1100亿韩元收购Finger及与友利银行签署谅解备忘录，MoonPay计划以韩国为亚洲据点，并计划明年申报VASP。

グローバルなデジタル資産金融インフラ企業のMoonPayは、9月29日にソウル汝矣島のコンラッドで記者会見を開き、MoonPay Koreaの正式発足を発表した。自社でウォン建てステーブルコインを発行するのではなく、金融機関や企業向けにホワイトラベルのステーブルコイン発行インフラを提供し、流動性供給やクロスボーダー決済にも取り組む。ソンホ電子とともに約1100億ウォンでFingerを買収し、ウリ銀行とMOUを結んだことを土台に、韓国をアジアの拠点とし、来年VASP申請を進める計画だ。

Plutôt que d'émettre son propre stablecoin en won, elle fournira aux institutions financières et aux entreprises une infrastructure d'émission de stablecoins en marque blanche, ainsi que de la liquidité et des paiements transfrontaliers. Forte du rachat de Finger avec Sungho Electronics pour environ 110 milliards de wons et d'un protocole d'accord avec Woori Bank, elle veut faire de la Corée son pôle asiatique et prévoit de déposer sa déclaration VASP l'an prochain.
